01About the software
Lingxi is AI film-making software. It is free to use, needs no activation code, and needs no account to receive updates.
Lingxi is not open source. The copyright and related rights in the software belong to its independent developer, and free use does not transfer any rights.
Lingxi is provided as is. We will keep improving it, but we make no express or implied warranty about generated results, the availability or stability of the software, or the continued provision of the software or any feature.
02AI-generated content
Scripts, images, videos, sounds, music, text and other content generated by Lingxi are driven by your input. You are responsible for how you use and publish this content.
When using Lingxi and its output, you must follow the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules of the platforms where you publish, including requirements on labeling AI-generated content.
Do not use Lingxi to: infringe others' copyright, portrait, reputation, privacy or other lawful rights; create or spread illegal content; create or spread false information; or use another person's likeness or voice without permission.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or different from what you expect. Please check it yourself before using or publishing it.
03User materials
You must own the rights to, or have permission from the rights holder for, any photos of people, reference voices, images, videos and other materials you use in Lingxi.
The user who uploads and uses materials is responsible for any rights disputes they cause.
04Cloud models and third-party services
Lingxi can connect to cloud models from various providers. When you choose a cloud model, the provider charges your own account directly at its prices; Lingxi does not handle the payment or add a markup.
Each provider is responsible for its terms of use, privacy policy, fees and availability. Please read and follow the provider's terms before use.
05Third-party model licenses
Some models in Lingxi have their own licenses; for example, some are limited to personal use. These licenses are stated in Lingxi.
When using these models, you must follow their license terms. For commercial use, first check whether the license allows it, and ask the model author if needed.
06Data
With local models, tasks run on your own computer.
With cloud models, data sent to the cloud provider is handled under that provider's terms.
07Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the independent developer is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of or inability to use Lingxi, or from the use of generated content, third-party services or third-party models.
Where the law provides otherwise by mandatory rules, those rules apply.
08Changes to these terms
We may update this page as the software changes or as the law requires. Updates are published on this page with a new date at the top. If you keep using Lingxi after an update, you accept the updated terms.
